Membership to the MNCPA is open to all state, county, tribal, and local law enforcement and municipality employees. A person employed by a private enterprise in a safety, loss, or a crime prevention position may be eligible for membership. Members of the MNCPA strive to expand and improve crime prevention programs throughout Minnesota.

*Anyone who registers and pays for membership, but is ineligible will not receive a refund and their fee will be considered a donation. If you have questions about becoming a member, please email info@mncpa.net before signing up for membership.

Ready to publish articles, crime prevention tips, power point presentations, brochures and “hot topic” items are available on a variety of topics.

Communication

Quarterly Newsletter “Crime Bytes” provides articles and tips that agencies can share with their community. MNCPA members receive timely information on current trends, training, events and new resources.

POST Certified Training + Certification

The annual MNCPA Fall Training Conference offers POST certified training for law enforcement which also meets the continuing education requirement for Certified Crime Prevention Specialists in Minnesota.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the MNCPA:

Law Enforcement Individual Membership: state, county and local law enforcement personnel or agency appointed representative. Voting Membership with access to password protected areas of website and trainings.  This is an individual (one person) membership. We do not offer department memberships. Membership is valid until December 31.
