The Minnesota Crime Prevention Association has formed three standing committees, each with specific duties. Any MCPA member in good standing is encouraged to participate in the committees. If you would like more information, or would like to participate in any of the committees please contact the chair person(s) listed below.

Education and Training Committee

The Education and Training Committee is responsible for planning conferences and conducting topical workshops across Minnesota. The committee is working toward the goal of ensuring crime prevention is a top priority by making crime prevention training opportunities available throughout the state, encouraging certification in crime prevention, planning the annual MCPA Conference, and playing an active roll in keeping members informed and involved in crime prevention actions being taken at the state level through legislation. The Conference Planning for 2008 has already started. If you have ideas, or would like to attend a meeting of this group please contact Terry, Dave or Kathy.

The Programs Committee is here to help you when you are looking for certain programs, information or training opportunities. The MN National Night Out Committee and the Crime Free Multi-Housing Committee are subcommittees of this branch of MCPA.
